Ovulation Test

Do you want to get pregnant? Do you want to have a Regular rule? What days are you fertile? In this article we explain how, when and why your natural ovulation cycles and how to know the most fertile days with an ovulation test

To calculate the days of fertility, there are currently several pregnancy ovulation tests that allow you to determine the fertile days to be able to procreate, however, all the indications of the tests must be taken into account to get pregnant in the shortest time.

In this article we will indicate the pregnancy ovulation tests that can be used, which are more effective and those that are more convenient according to the menstrual cycle of each woman.

The first thing before using any ovulation test is to know how ovulation occurs, as this will allow you to more accurately calculate the day you should have sexual intercourse and thus be able to obtain a clear ovulation test and pregnancy.

In those women who have “regular cycles” of 28 days, their ovulation occurs from the 14th day after menstruation. During this stage, the oocyte is expelled from the ovarian follicle into the fallopian tube and can be fertilized by sperm.

Once the positive ovulation test has been carried out, the oocyte is released and there is a time window of 12 to 24 hours in which the ovule is fertile and mature and it is during this period that the couple must have sexual intercourse in order to conceive.

On the other hand, in those women who have “irregular cycles” it is somewhat delicate to hit the rod tests, so it is best to use another type of positive ovulation test when having intercourse and it is easier to get pregnant.

Ovulation test indications

Ovulation test how the test strip works: in women with a regular cycle (28 days) of menstruation, the first step to follow is to start practicing the test from day 11 (that is, the eleventh day after the beginning of the period).

If, on the other hand, your menstrual cycle is irregular (more than 28 or 30 days) it is recommended to consult your doctor for guidance, since these irregular cycles usually begin between 3 to 5 days before your expected due date ovulation.

Clarified this point, proceed to take the urine sample directly on the Ovulation test strips using a sterile container with a small amount of urine. Said strip will turn one color and be positive for the ovulation test when having intercourse.

For the test sample it is recommended not to drink large amounts of fluids before the test. Do not take drugs that can lower LH levels such as estrogens, progesterone or testosterone found in contraceptives and hormone therapy?

On some occasions, the ovulation tests may give a positive result, which is why you must follow all the steps so that errors do not arise when performing the test.

Perform the test every day at the same time to more accurately determine the day of ovulation. The pregnancy ovulation test is safe and reliable, so you must follow all the recommendations and accompany these measures with a good diet.

Ovulation test how the digital ones work: the first thing is to know the duration of the menstrual cycle to carry out the test on the corresponding days and detect the increase in the Luteinizing Hormone.

To perform the test, remove the Pregnancy Ovulation Test stick and insert it into the test holder. Align the arrow on the rod with the arrow on the bracket and insert until it clicks into place.

When the symbol that indicates “test ready” appears, take the urine sample in a separate container and leave it submerged for about 15 seconds. Wait 3 minutes for the device to indicate that the result is ready.

To read the result, you must visualize it on the digital screen of the test. If an empty circle appears this indicates that there is no LH surge. If instead a smiley emoticon appears, it means that your 2 days to get pregnant are today and tomorrow.

After performing the test, remove the Pregnancy Ovulation Test stick and discard it after a few minutes. Do not insert sticks that have already been used in the Pregnancy Ovulation Test.

How the electronic ovulation test works: in the case of a saliva sample, it can be done at any time of the day, but never after eating or brushing as it can alter the result.

Take a drop of saliva from under the tongue and place the sample on the test lens. Allow the sample to dry naturally (wait 15-20 minutes) without speeding up the process.

Look through the lens with the light that the device brings and observe the results. After using the test, clean the sheet without using soap and reuse every day until the desired result is verified. This test can be used for approximately two years.

To use the electronic ovulation test with a vaginal discharge or urine sample, it is the same procedure, a small sample is taken, it is waited for it to dry and the results are read as explained on the back of the product.
